About Karen

Karen Sandler is a cat and horse person, but she's also a sucker for a dog with a wagging tail. She's been a writer since age 9 and loves to genre hop, from middle-grade fantasy to YA science fiction to romance to mystery. She's also a screenwriter/filmmaker with several short films under her belt. She's currently working with a writing partner to adapt her Tankborn Trilogy for television.

Karen lives in beautiful Northern California with her husband and two cats, the amazing ginger Alani, and formerly feral Zak.
