When writing a book, there's plenty of material that never makes it onto the page. In the case of the Tankborn trilogy, there were scenes in early drafts that didn't make the final cut. I had to build from scratch a history, government, and social structure for Loka, where the Tankborn trilogy is set. I also had some fun making videos describing my process. And I was lucky enough to have artist Matthew Leese, my web designer, create the images of Loka's flora and fauna that you see on this and other pages of my website.
